Esperanza Terán Conde was born in Madrid, into a family where culture and a sense of aesthetics were a natural part of daily life. From a very young age, her grandmother Josefa passed on to her a love for Made-to-Measure and the importance of keeping craftsmanship alive. Originally from San Sebastián, Josefa placed her trust in an exceptional seamstress who, in her own atelier, crafted exclusive pieces for her and her inner circle. This is how Esperanza developed a taste for couture and decided to pursue fashion studies.

At 18, she began her fashion design studies at a renowned French school based in Madrid. Driven by a scholarship and sheer determination, she soon left Madrid to continue her journey in Paris. She fell in love with the capital, its history, and its unique silhouettes. Enriched by the Spanish heritage that had always stayed with her, she cultivated a dual identity that would become the creative DNA of Teran Conde Paris.

After completing her studies, she began collaborating with prestigious houses such as Chanel, Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, and Givenchy. She then established herself as a recognized stylist in Paris, notably for brands like Lacoste. It is worth noting that at just 23 years old, she had already launched her first brand of pieces made from noble materials and embroidery, sold in iconic locations. From her Parisian atelier, working closely with seamstresses on exclusive projects, she patiently refined her unique creative language.​
